Dr. Chesney was born and raised near Toronto, Ontario. After graduating with her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Guelph, she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College. 

Her love for the outdoors brought her to BC where she first lived in the Okanagan. She decided to make BC her permanent home and joined the team at Westview Veterinary Services in January 2023. 

Dr. Chesney’s main interests are in internal medicine, as well as dermatology with a focus on helping improve the quality of life for pets with chronic allergies. 

During her free time she enjoys spending it outdoors hiking or hanging out with her flat coated retriever and 19 year old cat. When not outside, she enjoys going to farmers markets and trying out new local restaurants.
