Dr. Janet Nieckarz-Loeven earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997.  After graduation she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by a 3 year residency in radiology at the University of Tennessee.  In 2001, she became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology  (ACVR) and has been providing board certified radiology and ultrasound services to the Vancouver area since 2001. 

Dr. Nieckarz-Loeven was on staff at a local specialty hospital from 2001-2007, and has been providing in house/mobile ultrasounds to the lower mainland  since 2004.  Dr. Nieckarz-Loeven is skilled in all aspects of Veterinary Radiology-- ultrasound, CT, MRI, radiographic interpretation, and nuclear medicine.  Her primary interests are in performing and interpreting ultrasound exams, performing ultrasound guided interventions (fine needle aspirates and biopsies), radiographic interpretation and working closely with referring veterinarians to provide these additional diagnostics and consultations for  advanced imaging procedures.
